Jade Aster T. Badon is an Assistant Professor at the Animal Biology Division, Institute of Biological Sciences, University of the Philippines Los Baños. He holds an MS and a PhD in Entomology and Nematology from the University of Florida, U.S.A. Jade has published papers on Southeast Asian Lepidoptera specifically in the Philippines, and he is the President of the Philippine Lepidoptera Butterflies and Moths, Inc. (PhiLep).
