His main research interest focuses on the ecology and systematics of the amphibians and reptiles of South and Southeast Asia.
Abhijit Das received his PhD from Utkal University, Orissa and is a Scientist with the Wildlife Institute of India, Dehradun. His research area includes the taxonomy, systematics and conservation biology of Indian reptiles and amphibians.
